Bob & Suzanne in 2024

From Bob and Suzanne Redfern:

"We crossed over into The First State in his Datsun 240Z for our first date to see the movie Young Frankenstein on March 22, 1975 at the Tri State Mall, in Claymont DE. At the time, we were young, life was filled with dreams; we met at The Media Inn (she a waitress and he a cook or as in Harry Chapin words - 'she was going to be an actress, he was going to learn to fly'). This is now the 50th anniversary of our first date.  Since then, a few houses, kids, a number of jobs, operations, and grandkids/great-grandkids, not to mention retirements. Again, Harry Chapin 'the only changes going on are just going on in me;' John Fogerty once wrote 'don’t know where I’m going, but I’ll get there anyway.' Dreams have come and gone and keep coming, but fundamentally, nothing seems to change."

Well done, Bob and Suzanne, and congratulations!
