At the end of February, the Tracy family squeezed in a quick visit to the Iron City, where Joseph is in his first year at the University of Pittsburgh. They had just enough time to take in the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, where they snapped the photo at right. It's tough to compete with our region's Longwood Gardens, but Phipps, with its impressive collections of orchids and bonsai, gave Longwood a run for its money.
