MPM Workday on July 23, 2025

What a day we had!!! The weather couldn’t have been better. Just beautiful. What an amazing group. So much work was accomplished. The burial ground looks so good.

There were 14 of us working to remove vines from the wall, line trimming headstones, removing fallen branches (boy there was a lot of them), bagging over 30 bags of yard waste, thinning the overgrowth around the massive cedar (Morry’s Druid playground), mowing, digging up poke, and welcoming a new friend Amy. Generally having a great time working on and sharing this magical place together. Attached are a few pictures we wanted to share with you. They reflect the power of the village we have become. And, as always, our shared lunch time and conversation was enjoyed by all who were able to stay.

Looking forward to the next 2 events we are planning this year: a late August/early September clean-up day in the burial ground and a late September carriage shed clean out. Details will be forth coming.

A group of us will be working on the formation of the Friends of MPM burial group over the balance of the summer. Look for more info as we work through this process.

Thank you for all your hard work.
