Meeting for Worship for Business

Monthly Meeting for Business offers each member a chance to participate in managing the business affairs of the Meeting. The business meeting is considered a form of programmed worship and begins with a brief period of silence. After discussion of each point on the agenda, the group assembled reaches a mutually acceptable decision, referred to as the "sense of the meeting." The Clerk, an appointed officer of the Meeting, conducts the proceedings. Various committees or the Clerk bring business before the meeting.
